Omer Aftab has built impactful alliances with numerous government departments and ministries to enhance the outreach and effectiveness of his social initiatives. His efforts led to 38 formal MoUs signed across federal, provincial, and local levels in sectors like health, education, women development, and social welfare.
By partnering with the Higher Education Commission, Omer's Pink Ribbon Youth Program reached over 1.5 million young girls in just four years. Additionally, his initiatives illuminated iconic landmarks such as Minar-e-Pakistan and Parliament House to raise national awareness about breast cancer.
Role of Public-Private-Social-Partnership is key to success for any social development initiative. Mr. Omer successfully kept this rule at top, thus established Government Relations and partnerships with many Government Departments and Ministries to get maximum outreach and outcomes of his efforts.
For Pink Ribbon he has a unique model of success of working in coordination with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. In only 4 years, Pink Ribbon and HEC under mutually designed ‘Youth Program’ directly reach out to more than 1.5 million young girls. In coordination with various government departments, Pink Ribbon has also done the Illumination of landmark buildings to spread awareness about breast cancer. These iconic buildings include Minar-e- Pakistan, Mazar-e-Quaid, Faysal Mosque, Parliament House and Supreme Court.
Omer has always been the advocate of women’s empowerment in Pakistan. Under his White Ribbon project, he developed a successful working relationship with National and Provincial Commissions on Status of Women. Through these Commissions and Ministries, he executed one of the most successful legal awareness programs at grass root level across the country.
Under his different initiatives; Omer has signed 38 MoUs with relevant Government Departments, Ministries and Commissions at the local, provincial and federal level including Women Development, Health, Education, Social Welfare, and Population etc.
